2017 was a great year for S.A.M and our students. We have seen a great improvement in our students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and received excellent feedback from happy parents and students.
Report cards are being sent out in the next week to students who completed Term 4 of 2017, clearly reflecting the effort and commitment of the students. We are also excited to present quite a few certificates of completion to students who are progressing to the next level.
With term 4 coming to an end on the 23rd of December, enrollments for 2017 has closed.
Holiday Programs:
After a short break, we will be back with an intensive workshop on modelling. Modelling is one of the main principles in Singapore Maths and is an essential problem solving skill. The modelling workshop will be held over three 2-hour sessions at selected centres. Attendance is free to enrolled S.A.M students (valued at $120). Spaces for the workshop is limited, and registration is essential.
Students can also attend the BizWorld holiday camp in January, where they will learn how to start and operate a business. Working in groups to form a company, students apply for jobs and accept responsibility for their position in the organisation. As a team they finance, plan, produce, market and sell friendship bracelets and finally they evaluate their company’s performance. Parents, siblings and friends are invited to attend the sales bazaar, where all shoppers will receive “BizBucks” to spend at the market stall of their choice. S.A.M students are entitled to discounted fees.
Please note that not all centres participate in the holiday programs, contact us with any questions.
