S.A.M Holiday Camps – Featuring BizWorld

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We are very excited to bring BizWorld holiday camps to selected S.A.M centres during the upcoming school holidays.

An international program for young Entrepreneurs (aged 8-14) to learn how to start and operate their own business.Β  Learning real-life skills like applying for a job, marketing and advertising and pitching their ideas, these holiday camps are valuable for all students in any chosen career.

“BizWorld teaches children the basics of entrepreneurship, business, and finance in a hands-on manner. This project-based learning (PBL) program gives children the opportunity to learn first hand how to start and operate their own business. Working in teams, students start, fund, and run their own company in the friendship bracelet industry.

The decisions that the companies make are entirely student-driven. The students decide everything from what to name their company to how many products to make and how much to charge for them!

During a Sales Bazaar, students sell their products (friendship bracelets) to their customers – don’t worry; no real money is involved! Students use the BizWorld monetary denomination, BizBucks.

Throughout BizWorld, students have multiple opportunities to practice leadership skills and hone their math and communication skills.”

Camp is offered over 4 days 9am – 12:30pm or two days 9am – 3pm:

Mandurah: 15 & 17 January 9am – 3pm

Willetton: 22 & 24 January 9am – 3pm

Wangara: 15 – 18 January 9am – 12:30pm

Students form companies in groups, and should attend all days.
